Get ready for coworking streams!

## Pre-requisites (Computer)

Pre-requisites for starting coworking streams on your desktop computer or laptop.

### Software

- [OBS](https://obsproject.com/) : Free and open source software for video recording and live streaming.

### Hardware

- **Internet Capacity (bitrate)**
  - There are some online calculators you can use to determine the ideal bitrate based off your computer specs and preferred output (screen resolution, frames per second).

- **RAM**
  - The more RAM a computer has, the better it is at multitasking.
  - Minimum 8GB, 16GB or more is recommended.
- **CPU**
  - The better the CPU, the faster the computer can process data and instructions.
  - clock speed of 3.0 GHz or higher, such as an Intel Core i5 or AMD Ryzen 5.
- **GPU**
  - The better the GPU, the better the image quality and the higher the frame rate. 
  - A dedicated GPU is not required for streaming, but it is recommended for a better viewing experience.
  - A dedicated graphics card with at least 4GB of VRAM, such as an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 or AMD Radeon RX 560.

## Pre-requisites (Mobile)

Usually, streamers who stream from their phone would use their laptop device to interact with chat!

### Hardware

- **Camera**
  - Having a camera pointed towards your direction is effective for accountability!

### Software

- **Twitch / YouTube app**
  - Depending on which platform you intend to stream on.
